    Can you really supply and install the same day?
    Most of the time. Tell us the brand, model and size off the old unit's plate and we can organise the right one before we arrive. An unusual size has to be ordered in.
    What is a tempering valve, and do I need one?
    It blends cold into the hot before your bathroom outlets so the water cannot scald. New installations have to deliver a safe temperature at sanitary fixtures, so a compliant install includes one.
    Can I buy the unit myself and pay you to fit it?
    We would rather supply it. Then the unit and the workmanship sit with one party, and warranties generally depend on licensed installation anyway. Split it and you stand between supplier and installer.
    Where is the new unit allowed to go?
    Not just anywhere. A gas unit needs clearance and ventilation, the relief valve a safe discharge, a storage tank a base that carries it full, and a heat pump airflow and some thought about noise. On most blocks here the old spot works fine.
