Money first, because that is what most people are actually worried about. You get one price for the whole job, written down and agreed, before anything is pulled apart. It does not move afterwards.

Turning up costs you nothing when the work proceeds. We are six kilometres out, which makes same day the usual answer here, seven days, with the phone answered around the clock for emergencies.

Enquire online and $65 comes off the first service. Seniors take 10 per cent. The drive is not billed when you go ahead with the job.

    What happens when you call

    1. You describe the problem. Enough for us to judge whether it waits until tomorrow.
    2. We come and look. Covers off, not from the doorway.
    3. You get a single figure. Labour, parts and the tidy up, approved before we start.
    4. We finish and pack up. The invoice is the figure you agreed to.

    About the suburb

Most of this place went up between the 1970s and the 1990s, and it went up big: four bedroom brick veneer with a tile roof, sitting on 700 to 900 square metres. Three quarters of the dwellings are separate houses, with townhouses and flats gathered near Windsor Road and Grove Square.

That matters to a quote more than people expect. Long pipe runs, a laundry at the far end of the floor plan, an ensuite added off a different wall a decade after the house was built. More of everything to price, which is why a rough figure over the phone lets you down. Around 37,000 people live here, and we work between Old Northern Road, the M2, The Hills Private Hospital and the bush edge at Bidjigal Reserve.

Plumber work we do in Baulkham Hills

Fixtures keep us busiest. Original tap bodies that will not stop dripping, cistern internals, a mixer weeping quietly into the vanity cupboard. That is tap and toilet repairs.

Gas is the other regular, since most houses here already have a service at the boundary: cooktops, heaters, connections when a new appliance goes in. See gas fitting. Bursts, roof and gutter work and renovation plumbing sit under general plumbing and maintenance.

    Why locals call us back

A fixed price is only worth something if nothing gets bolted onto it later. Nothing does. We will tell you when a washer will do instead of a new tap set, and the house goes back how we found it.

    Frequently asked questions

Do you price by the hour or by the job?
By the job. An hourly rate puts the risk on you, because a slow morning costs you money. One figure for the finished work puts it on us.
Why not just quote it over the phone?
A phone quote is a guess, and guesses get revised upwards on site. Better to look first and give you a number that holds.
Can you price a few jobs separately so I can pick which ones to do?
Yes. Split the list and you choose. People often do the leaking one now and the tired one later.
Part of Baulkham Hills sits in Parramatta council. Does that change anything?
Not for a repair. Most addresses are The Hills Shire and a southern pocket is City of Parramatta. It surfaces on paperwork for larger drainage work.
What if I want the price today and the work in a few weeks?
That is fine. The quote is yours to sit on, nobody will chase you, and booking it later does not change the figure.
